Every day at Starbright is built around something simple: children learn best when they feel safe, seen, and free to wonder.
From morning arrival to evening pick-up, each moment is shaped with intention — circle time, outdoor play, guided learning, warm meals, and quiet rest, woven together into a rhythm that children come to trust.

Morning arrival & health check
Every morning begins with a quiet act of care. As children arrive, our teachers check each child’s temperature and log the update directly to parents through our app. It is a small ritual that says: we are watching, and you can trust us.
Morning circle time
The whole class gathers — to sing, to share, and to step into the story of the month together. Our Picture Book Programme anchors the morning, imagination, and the kind of conversation that only a good book can start. It is the moment the class becomes a community.
Outdoor playground
Children head outside into the morning light: running, climbing, splashing in the water play area, and getting their hands into the garden. This is where bodies wake up fully. The sun, the soil, and the open air are all part of the curriculum here.
Three meals, every day
Breakfast after outdoor play, a warm lunch after the morning’s learning, and afternoon tea to close the day — each meal is freshly prepared and eaten together at the table. Mealtimes at Starbright are unhurried, building small habits of independence.
Guided learning & STEAM
The morning’s structured session brings focused, educator-led learning with clear intentions. Alongside it, our STEAM programme takes a different approach — open-ended, project-based, and driven by children’s curiosity.
Lunch, bath & rest time
After a warm lunch and bath, the pace slows completely. Children who need to sleep, do. Those who don’t find a soft corner and something quiet. We follow each child’s natural rhythm. Rest at Starbright is its own kind of learning — the body settling, the mind consolidating everything the morning brought.
Learning corners
Our classroom is designed as a series of distinct spaces — each one an invitation. In the afternoon, children move freely between them: revisiting the morning’s ideas at the reading corner, creating at the art corner, building at the construction zone, or exploring at the sensory table. Self-direction is itself a skill we take seriously.
Evening programme
As the day winds down, children gather one last time — to explore a ‘Why?’ from the world around them. Monthly theme books, group discussion, and shared curiosity fill the final stretch of the day.
